Delete your Truckist account

1. Delete from the app

Open Settings → Privacy & data → Account center and choose Request account deletion.

The request is recorded against your authenticated Truckist account. Apple-linked accounts may require recent Apple authentication so Truckist can revoke the Apple authorization associated with the account.

2. If you cannot access the app

You can request deletion by email:

Include the email or sign-in method associated with the account and, if known, your Truckist nickname. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or authentication codes.

3. Identity verification

To protect accounts against unauthorized deletion, Truckist may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify that you control the account.

4. Request processing

An in-app request can be cancelled while its status is Requested. Once server processing begins, cancellation is no longer available. Account center shows the current deletion status while the account remains accessible.

5. What deletion covers

When processing completes, Truckist deletes the Firebase Authentication account and deletes or irreversibly de-identifies account-associated personal data that is not required to be retained. This includes applicable profile, presence, notification, Community, parking and subscription-entitlement data.

Shared Community records may be de-identified or retained in a limited form where necessary to preserve another user's conversation, maintain system integrity or comply with security or legal requirements.

6. Limited retention after deletion

A short-lived technical deletion guard may remain temporarily after completion to prevent a stale signed-in session from recreating deleted data.

Truckist may retain limited non-identifying deletion-audit information for security and compliance. A previously issued Founding Driver number is retired and is not recycled; it may be represented by an opaque non-identifying record rather than the deleted profile.

Security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution or legally required records may be retained only to the extent reasonably necessary or required by law.

7. Subscriptions are separate

Deleting your Truckist account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. If you have a paid subscription and do not want future renewals, cancel it separately through the store account used for purchase.

Apple and Google may retain app-store transaction records under their own policies.

8. Timing

Verified deletion requests are processed without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law. In-app processing is automated, but external verification requests may require additional time where reasonably necessary to verify ownership.
