Delete your Truckist account
You can request deletion of your Truckist account and associated personal data even if you no longer have the app installed.
How to request deletion
If you can access the public-release app, use its account/settings deletion option. If you cannot access the app, submit the request by email:
Include the email address used to sign in and, if known, your Truckist nickname. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or authentication codes.
Identity verification
To protect accounts from unauthorized deletion, we may ask you to verify control of the account or sign-in email. We request only information reasonably necessary to verify the request.
What deletion covers
Once a verified request is completed, Truckist will delete or irreversibly de-identify account-associated personal data that it is not required to retain. Depending on the final V1 data model, this is expected to include the account/profile, account-linked friend/block/notification data, account-linked parking activity and other account-linked personal data. Community content that must remain for another user's conversation or a security/legal record may be irreversibly de-identified, or retained only where law permits or requires it.
Subscriptions are separate
Deleting a Truckist account does not necessarily cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. To prevent future renewals, also cancel the subscription in the store account used for purchase. Store transaction records are controlled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
Timing and limited retention
After necessary identity verification, we process deletion requests without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law. Limited information may be retained only where necessary for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution or another legal obligation.
